All Season Microbial Pond ClarifierBio Pond Treet is a very economical, simple and effective all-season treatment for ponds to remove organic matter that causes water clarity problems. Bio Pond Treet greatly reduces the odor and murky water associated with many varieties of organic wastes, which build-up naturally in lake and pond waters; all of this within a few simple applications.
Our powder formulation, in water dissolvable packets, consists of billions of beneficial microbial cultures. These cultures are made up of five bacterial strains specifically targeted to reduce nutrients such as ammonia, urea, nitrates and phosphates as well as bottom sludge consisting of both cellulose and lignin components of dead and decaying plant material.
Bio Pond Treet is non-toxic, non-caustic, non-chemical, and non-pathogenic to humans, animals, plants, fish, and other aquatic life. Bio Pond Treet can be employed as a Curative measure, solving initial problems associated with excess nutrients, odors, murky water, and bottom sludge. Eliminates Problem Causing Excess Nutrients
Bio Pond Treet will eliminate ammonia-producing wastes, as well as nitrite-producing wastes, from pond and lake water. Bio Pond Treet will simultaneously eliminate excess problem causing nitrates and phosphates. While Bio Pond Treet is NOT an algaecide, the nutrient reduction does result in algae reduction by eliminating nutrient support for algae growth.
Eliminates Bottom Sludge
Bio Pond Treet provides the comprehensive removal of organic bottom sludge by biologically removing cellulose and lignin (primary components of grass clippings, leaves, and similar organic wastes).
Achieves Water Clarity
Bio Pond Treet removes suspended organic waste particles which create murky water. Bio Pond Treet utilizes microbes to eliminate the dead and decaying organic wastes which float in the water as suspended solids. As these organic wastes are removed, water clarity drastically increases (to as much as 6 foot clarity depth after only a few treatments). Bio Pond Treet will not remove suspended dirt particles or inorganic matter which may contribute to clarity problems.
Provides Odor Control
As Bio Pond Treet removes organic wastes, it simultaneously eliminates the odors associated with these decaying wastes.
PACKAGING & APPLICATION:
Our stated application rate is for 'un-filtered' ponds. Many competitors provide application rates for optimal clean & filtered water environments. Their unfiltered application rates can be as much as 10+ times greater. Please read the fine print during your research.
Packaging:
Bio Pond Treet comes packaged in pre-measured, 1oz or 8oz water-soluble packets for simple no-mess application.
Bio Pond Treet is offered in jars containing 24 1oz packets or in 25lb pails of 400 1oz packets. For lakes or larger applications Bio Pond Treet is also packaged in 25lb pails of 50 8oz packets.
Application:
Apply 1 - 1oz packet of Bio Pond Treet for every 1000 gallons (1000 gal. = 50 sq.ft @ 3 ft depth) of pond water once per week until desired clarity is achieved.
Then maintain clarity with 1 - 1oz packet every 2 weeks for this same volume of water. Apply directly to the pond water or filter. Apply the water-soluble packets directly to the water surface, evenly spaced around the perimeter of the pond or lake. The water-soluble packets will dissolve and the bacteria will go to work within minutes of application.
